Striking pair of Italian postmodern lounge chairs from 1980. These sculptural chairs feature a fiberglass shell with a heavy metal base.
The seats and backrests are upholstered in bold leopard print fabric, contrasted by a high-gloss red lacquered exterior, typical of expressive Italian design from the late 1970s–1980s. The organic, flowing shape gives the chairs a strong architectural presence.
More than seating alone, these chairs function as design objects — perfect for collectors, eclectic interiors, galleries or boutique spaces.
