Original ceramic wall relief by Postmodern German artist Dieter Eichelmann (1946–2018).
The work is hand-built and sculptural in nature, composed of layered ceramic elements rather than being wheel-thrown or painted.
The composition features abstract human profiles rendered in earthy red tones and deep blue, creating a balanced contrast between form, texture, and color. Characteristic of Eichelmann’s practice, the piece explores positive and negative space, surface variation, and architectural structure.
Eichelmann was trained in architecture, sculpture, and ceramics, and his work is recognized for bridging the disciplines of fine art and ceramic object. His works were exhibited in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.
The work is marked with the original artist’s label and signed. The artwork was mounted on a wooden panel for exhibition purposes.
